Road Rhythms

We've been seeing the region through the windshield. Georgetown, Fort Mill, Orangeburg, Dillsboro, Charleston. Mountains, rivers, oceans, and cloudburst-silver summer skies. Our intuitions are merging. Moving more as one throughout life. Finishing one-another's sentences. Anticipating the other's maneuvering. I occasionally refer to Kelley as "Junk Bug" after the small insect that appears to be covered in stuff. Sometimes I turn around to see her carrying way to much gear in one haul. We have both been writing, but have barely had time to get our new songs memorized and folded into the set. We have been pecking away at the recording process also. Things are often less complicated than anticipated, but they are often more time-consuming than estimated. The scenic route.
